Tanakaya' was established in 1863. During the Edo Period, Hiroshige Ando depicted the two-story inn called 'Sakuraya', the precursor of 'Tanakaya', in his famous Japanese print entitled the "Fifty-three Stages of the Tokaido". As a Japanese-style restaurant of long standing we are trying our best to maintain the traditional and tranquil atmosphere so that our guests can feel the comfort and restfulness of the traditional Japanese air and service.
